Expocentre focuses greater attention on holding both national and international congresses and conferences. The company is a member of ICCA – the International Congress and Convention Association, and a member of AIPC – the International Association of Congress Centres. These world’s leading organizations comprise the largest convention and congress organizers worldwide.
 Convention activity is among Expocentre’s key priorities. Nowadays exhibitions encompass a whole range of services intended to help exhibitors arrange their business meetings, find new partners, research the market and consolidate their company’s reputation.
Exhibitions held at Expocentre Fairgrounds are accompanied by a specific programme of related events for exhibitors and professional visitors. Congresses, conferences and round tables are held during the entire exhibition period. They bring together businessmen, manufacturers, heads of government agencies, scientists, engineers and technologists to exchange their experience. The 5pEXPO International Forum of the Exhibition Industry serves as a good example of a professional networking event.
In 2007 Expocentre ran 400 congresses, 300 of which were held as part of exhibitions, as well as the rest were individual events).
Expocentre offers:

– comprehensive set of services intended to devise an event concept, manage and organize technical aspects, and provide organizational and information support, and assistance in selecting the appropriate conference package;
– services connected with making contacts with professional organizers of congress events in Russia and abroad.
 
Apart from conference facilities Expocentre exploits the venue’s exhibition pavilions and open-air sites to hold large-scale events, conventions, international and national forums, and congresses involving up to 3,000 – 4,000 people at a time.
