Exhibition at Expocentre is a key event of the Days of the Far East in Moscow
Expocentre Fairground hosts an exhibition running as part of the Days of the Far East in Moscow. It showcases social and economic accomplishments of the Russian Far East region.
Among other things, the exhibition shows success stories of the Russian Homestead Act and work in the Free Port of Vladivostok and priority development zones. The exhibition offers a career fair for students and young professionals who want to work in leading enterprises of the Russian Far East. One can also learn about housing opportunities or starting a business on special terms. The Russian Homestead Act stand offers everybody an opportunity to apply for land in the Far East.
Deputy Prime Minister of Russia and Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Petrovich Trutnev visited the exhibition on its first day. He was interested in a stand of the Smena Russian Children's Centre. It is open to children who are interested in robotics, programming and the latest technologies. Mr. Trutnev also appreciated the gamut of interesting and useful information about the authentic culture and history of the region, its investment potential and prospects of the social and economic development.
The exhibition has many supporting events covering the new economic policy in the Russian Far East, i.e. development of special economic regimes and unique legislation features, which favor investment projects in priority development zones.
