The largest Retail Chains Centreтм will operate during first 4 days of Prodexpo 2022, the 29th International Exhibition for Food, Beverages, Food Raw Materials, to be held on 7-11 February at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds.

Buyers from Russia's leading federal, regional and local retail chains - Auchan, Azbuka Vkusa, VkusVill, Svetofor, Ozon, Yandex.Lavka, Subway, Komandor and others - as well as companies from the US, China and Europe will negotiate to refresh the range and find new interesting products.

Food suppliers, in turn, will have the opportunity to hold 20-30 guaranteed meetings with representatives of retail chains, marketplaces and HoReCa over the course of several days. These meetings provide an opportunity to present a product, clarify details of logistics, learn about competition 'on the shelf', get personalised advice, and often sign a contract straight away.

However, direct talks with chains are not the only highlight of the exhibition, which has an extensive conference programme. Its events will help participants professionally navigate the intricacies of the market and plan their sales.

The main event aimed at increasing the efficiency of interaction between retail chains and suppliers will be the Russian Food Forum for Suppliers for Retail Chains. For those interested in supplying their own branded product to retail chains, the Russian Food Forum on PLB 2022 will be held, while PLATFORUM will be held for FMCG suppliers working with marketplaces and online shops. The Conference on Modern Food Packaging will be dedicated to a comprehensive programme of eco-friendly, safe and in-demand packaging that helps food products be sold easily.

The 5th Russian Conference on Success Recipes for a Food Store will also take place. It will feature prominent experts in small grocery retail, who will help understand the situation in this market, advise on what shops need to do in the context of tightening trade regulations and what tools to use to increase retail sales in 2022. The conference will also provide an analysis of retail technology that reduces shop costs. Attendees will learn who the next generation consumer is and what the key changes are in the behaviour of different age groups of shoppers when choosing food and the very way they buy it.
