The Far East: Russian Youth exhibition, a key event of the annual festival “Days of the Russian Far East”, started at Expocentre Fairgrounds.

A large-scale colourful exhibition located in Pavilion No.7 featured the achievements of social and economic development of the Russian Far East. The main topics are quality education and career building, nature and tourism potential, cultural opportunities, megaprojects, and regional perspectives. Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev attended the exhibition on the first day.

At the exhibition a job fair of major enterprises of the Far East region is held for students and young specialists, who wish to get a promising job, from December 12 through 14. Here one can learn about supporting measures for immigrants, housing options, or setting up one’s own business on preferential terms.

Particular attention at the exhibition is given to the Far Eastern Hectare programme. At a specially equipped stand everyone who wants can apply online for a land plot.

The exhibition is accompanied by a comprehensive supporting program. It provides for discussion of a new economic policy in the Far East. The agenda includes the issues concerning the development of special economic regimes that are conducive to the implementation of investment projects in the areas of advanced development.

The visitors can try some of the Far Eastern cuisine, become familiar with handicraft products, and see performances of stars and bands from Russia’s largest region.
