The minister noted that the traditional autumn format of the combined international exhibitions allows the professional community to showcase new developments in the children's goods industry and clothing collections, share experiences, take part in interdisciplinary projects, and discuss topical issues of industry development.
“There is no doubt that the pandemic has had a serious impact on our economy. Restrictions have affected all spheres and areas of business. At the same time, domestic manufacturers have managed not only to cope successfully with the new challenges, but also to increase exports of goods for children.
At the moment, special attention is paid to programmes to support consumer demand for Russian-made children's goods, as well as initiatives aimed at improving the quality and safety of products”, the minister said.
Denis Manturov wished participants and organisers of the exhibitions interesting and fruitful work and empathized that the conference programme of about 40 events would enable public authorities, business and the expert community to develop joint solutions that would have a positive impact on the competitiveness of the Russian products.
