subscribe to news Dmitry Patrushev: Agroprodmash 2019 will help to identify growth points of Russian agriculture industry

Russian Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev has sent his welcome address to the participants in the 24th edition of the Agroprodmash International Exhibition for Equipment, Technologies, Raw Materials and Ingredients for the Food Processing Industry, which will run at Expocentre Fairgrounds on October 7–11, 2019.

The minister has emphasized that currently the Russian government pays special attention to the development of technologies for processing of agricultural products and provides comprehensive support to this industry. A Federal Scientific and Technical Program for Agricultural Development in 2017-2025 was adopted with this aim in view. It will help to pump up the volume of agricultural production using the most advanced processing technologies and increase Russia’s export potential in the near future.

To ensure that this positive trend continues, we have to hold industry-related trade shows and congresses including the Agroprodmash exhibition. It ranks in the top ten of Europe's largest food processing shows and promotes international cooperation and upgrade of food processing equipment in Russia.

The minister is positive that a series of supporting events will help to identify the growth points of the Russian agriculture industry, strengthen international cooperation and establish contacts among market players.
