A solemn meeting devoted to the 30^th anniversary of the Bulgarian-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry took place on December 12, 2018 in Sofia. The Chamber's key objective is to build up trade and economic relations between the two countries.

On the instructions of Expocentre Director General Sergey Bednov, his First Deputy Director General Nikolay Gusev awarded honorary diplomas to Chairman of the Managing Board of the Bulgarian-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Georgy Minchev and Member of the Managing Board Marin Beloev who was a founding member of the mixed Chamber.

Nikolay Gusev made a short presentation of the trade shows organized by Expocentre in Moscow and told about participation of Bulgarian companies in them.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Bulgaria Anatoly Makarov welcomed the attendees, highly appreciated the mixed Chamber and emphasized a growing role of this organization in recent times.

Deputy Minister of Economy of Bulgaria Alexander Manolev, who attended the meeting, said that the Bulgarian-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry greatly contributed to the development of bilateral relations and wished every success in this field.

Vice President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Padalko, Chairman of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tsvetan Simeonov, and acting Trade Representative of Russia Yury Ivanov also addressed a large audience
