Director General of ROSCOSMOS State Space Corporation sent a welcome address to the participants in the 13th International Navigation Forum and the Navitech 2019 international exhibition.
GLONASS is a critically important part of the state's infrastructure which ensures navigational independence, national security and modernisation of the Russian economy, says the welcome address. Satellite navigation and related technologies are among high-tech export products of Russia. The large scale introduction of GLONASS technologies in Russia allows not only to significantly optimise human and financial resources but also to improve public safety as well as safety and quality of public services.
The head of ROSCOSMOS is positive that the forum and the trade show will once again become a starting point of new ambitious plans, encourage international exchange of information, and contribute to strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation and business ties.
The 13th International Navigation Forum and the Navitech 2019 international exhibition are held on April 23-26 within the Russian Week of High Technologies that brings together leading congresses and trade shows in the field of IT, telecommunications, navigation and telematics.
