EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds is hosting the 35th Exhibition for Russian Arts and Crafts – Ladya 2024. The Spring Fantasy. The exhibition is organised by the Russian Handicraft and Art Association and supported by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Small and Medium Entrepreneurship National Project. The exhibition is co-organised by EXPOCENTRE AO.
On the eve of International Women’s Day, over 700 representatives of folk crafts, individually working artists, artisans and craftsmen are taking part in the exhibition. On the area exceeding 2,500 sq. m., 58 regions of Russia are showcasing their products, with group stands represented by 26 regions of Russia.
Over the years, the project has become the country’s largest annual event representing Russian folk art. The exhibition features products according to the industry principle: salons of porcelain and ceramics, lacquer painting, artistic wood and bone carving, metal painting, artistic weaving and carpet making, metal and leather processing, crystal and glass, casting and forging, etc.
The group stand of artisans and craftsmen of the Fair of Masters online platform (livemaster.ru), a joint project of the Russian Handicraft and Art Association and the Fair of Masters online platform, is presented at the fair again.
The visitors to the exhibition will enjoy entertaining master classes for children and adults on making various clay toys, folk dolls, birch bark products, funny items made of bast fibre, printed cloth, leather embossing and dot painting.
