At the Design Lounge, a platform of the conference programme of Mebel 2021, famous designer Kirill Istomin talked about author's furniture.

Today, according to experts, Kirill Istomin is the most famous and internationally recognised designer and decorator from Russia. He graduated from the prestigious Parsons School in New York and worked for the legendary American and world design guru Albert Hadley. After working in New York for ten years, Istomin created his own brand Kirill Istomin Interior Design & Decoration in 2002. Besides interior design, he is also engaged in decorating rooms, creating author's furniture projects, textiles, wallpapers and other decorative items. The official offices of the brand are in Moscow and New York. Furniture based on Kirill's designs is made in Russia, the US, the UK, France and Italy.

Istomin's company deals with projects ranging from the design of interior architecture to the interiors of historic buildings and large luxury residences. Istomin uses its own fabrics, wallpapers and furniture pieces in almost every project. He specially selects exclusive collections of bed linen, tableware, antiques and art from different eras.
