The Thematic Session on Tasteful Improvement of Efficiency was held by EXPOCENTRE AO and the Russian Quality System (Roskachestvo) within the conference programme of Prodexpo 2024.  

The event was moderated by Anna Malechkovich, Director of the Roskachchestvo Department of Business Process Efficiency and International Cooperation. The speakers discussed the most effective tools and methods of maintaining sustainability and increasing the efficiency of enterprises in conditions of instability, as well as such a tool as the Russian Government's Quality Award model.

The invited experts included representatives of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, EASC – the Euro-Asian Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification, the Food Ingredients Producers Union, the Union of Juice, Water and Beverage Producers, Maslozhirovoy Soyuz Rossii, the United Confectioners Holding, and the Pyaterochka retail chain.  

Each of the experts shared their experience and best practices in achieving sustainable development goals and national priorities. Among other things, Elena Iskhakova, Deputy Director of the Department of Regional Development of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that the Chamber actively supports the aspirations of enterprises to develop according to the model of the Government Quality Award, including through regular systematic expert work in the field of confirming the quality and safety of goods. Vladimir Chernyak, Director of the Bureau of Standards and EASC Executive Secretary, spoke about the advantages of the title of a winner of the Russian Government Quality Award.

The speakers also discussed in detail the increase in enterprise efficiency through using this award’s competition model and the positive impact it has on today's socio-economic environment, including stabilising the business processes of domestic companies and improving the quality of products and services for the sustainable development of society and the state.
