Extensive group stands of Russian manufacturers of agricultural machinery opened today in Tashkent as part of AgroExpo Uzbekistan 2021

The Russian pavilion is organised by EXPOCENTRE AO on behalf of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade with the support of the Rosspetsmash Association.

This year, 18 Russian enterprises are taking part in the group stands, including Rostselmash, Petersburg Tractor Plant (Kirovets), Klever, Pegas-Agro, ALMAZ, ROMAX, Voronezhselmash, Melinvest, Ingenium, Frigoglass and the Tonar Machine Building Plant. An area of more than 500 square metres presents new Russian developments and popular models of agricultural machinery, including wheeled tractors, grain and forage harvesters, tillage equipment and much more.

At the opening ceremony, Stefan Kresse, Director of IWFexpo Heidelberg (the organiser of the exhibition), noted the great interest in Russian machinery and its demand in the Uzbek market, and congratulated the Russian participants on the start of the exhibition.

In her welcome address to visitors and exhibitors of AgroExpo Uzbekistan 2021, Mariya Elkina, Director of the Department of Agricultural, Food and Road and Construction Machine-Building of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, said that the growing demand for equipment and machinery from Russia among Uzbek buyers confirms the already established high reputation of Russian machinery products. "Modern models of Russian-made agricultural machinery have high productivity and reliability, favorably distinguished by the availability of spare parts and short delivery time," she said, wishing all participants and guests of the Russian pavilion and exhibition successful work and productive negotiations.

At the end of the opening ceremony, the official guests toured the group stands of Uzbekistan, Russia, Germany, the Netherlands, Turkey, Ukraine and others.

The work of the Russian pavilion is going on actively. Meetings have been held with representatives of the regional authorities of several Uzbekistan’s regions. Uzbek distributors, leasing and other companies are getting acquainted with the exhibited machinery and discussing cooperation terms with Russian exhibitors.

The exhibition runs till June 30.
