Metalloobrabotka 2022, the international exhibition for equipment, instruments and tools for the metalworking industry with a comprehensive range of product sectors to be held from May 23 to 27 at Expocentre Fairgrounds, will be supplemented by an extensive conference programme.

A notable event will be a two-day Forum on the Potential and Prospects for the Machine Tool Industry in the New Economic Environment organised by EXPOCENTRE AO and the Industry Project Management Centre, with participation of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.  

The forum will feature the Plenary Session on the Potential and Prospects for the Machine Tool Industry in the New Economic Environment, the Conference on Synchronising the Supply and Demand between Metalworking Equipment Manufacturers and Major Government Customers, as well as various thematic panels. The meetings will discuss priority directions of the machine tool industry development, technological sovereignty, critical technology and points of growth, human resources and other topical issues.  

The exhibition section "Additive Technologies. Industrial 3D Printing" with the participation of representatives from the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, INDUSTRY 3D: the International Forum on Additive Technologies and 3D Solutions will take place. The organisers are EXPOCENTRE AO and WebConf. The key topic for discussion will be additive and 3D technologies in modern industrial production. The best experts ready to share their experience in developing, implementing and using the latest solutions and materials for additive manufacturing will speak at the forum. 

The Conference on the Digital Transformation of the Metalworking Industry, organised by EXPOCENTRE AO and the National Union of Suppliers of Equipment and Tools for Metalworking, will also gather the leading experts. 

The conference programme of the exhibition will also feature the 6th International Conference on Industrial Lubricants and Fluids in Metallurgy, Metal Processing and Machine Building, the Conference on Industrial Robotics, the Forum on the Cooperation Prospects between Russian and Belarusian Machine Tool Companies to Develop New Types of Equipment, the Conference on Advanced Laser Technology and other events. 

In addition, Subcontract Exchange, organised by EXPOCENTRE AO with support of the Yaroslavl Chamber of Commerce and Industry jointly with the National Partnership for Subcontracting Development, will operate at the exhibition.

The exchange will enable direct negotiation between the customer and the supplier for the manufacture and supply of parts and assemblies to the customer's specifications. This will enable customers to select qualified suppliers capable of fulfilling the order in accordance with the specification within the agreed time frame, and suppliers to find additional orders to top up their production capacity.
