An exhibition of Russian agricultural and road-building machinery, Spetsmash 2023, opened today in Darkhan, Mongolia.

The trade show is organised by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade with the support of the Rosspetsmash Association. It is operated by EXPOCENTRE AO.

Seventeen domestic enterprises are taking part in the exhibition, including Rostselmash, the Petersburg Tractor Plant (Kirovets), Pegas-Agro, Melinvest, Mercator Holding, UMG SDM, Techno-Steel, Kurgandormash, the Almaz Trading House, Om-Selmash, LiS, Kuzembetyevo RMZ, and others.

According to statistics, Mongolia has seen a steady increase in agricultural production and infrastructure construction in recent years. This has led to an increasing demand for quality and reliable machinery, making the Spetsmash 2023 exhibition a topical and much sought-after event for local farmers.

On the area of more than 1,500 square metres, Mongolian visitors could see new high-tech developments and popular models of combine harvesters, sowing systems, sprayers, grain separators, grain throwers, and other agricultural machinery. In addition, the exhibition features municipal road cleaning equipment, equipment for production of road construction and repair materials, and much more.

The opening ceremony and official tour of the trade show were attended by Director of the Department of Agricultural, Food and Road Construction Engineering of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade Maria Yolkina, Director of the Policy and Planning Department of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Textile Industry of Mongolia Ts. Bolorchuluun, Trade Representative of Russia in Mongolia Maxim Vasiliev, Governor of Darkhan-Uul aimag (province) B. Azzhargal, and Consul General of Russia to Darkhan Zainutdinov Ruslan.

A series of business events and meetings are planned as part of the exhibition. The round table on Russia and Mongolia: Developing Cooperation in Agriculture and Road Construction; a working visit to a typical Mongolian farm on the development of international partnership with Mongolian entrepreneurs and practices of using Russian agricultural machinery at agro-industrial enterprises; B2B and B2G meetings of Russian exhibitors with Mongolian partners.

The Spetsmash 2023 exhibition will be useful for entrepreneurs in Mongolia, as it will allow them to learn about the latest developments and technologies, as well as to establish business contacts with manufacturers and suppliers of agricultural and construction road machinery. This contributes to improving the quality and efficiency of farmers' work and the development of the industry as a whole.

The Spetsmash 2023 exhibition in Darkhan is open until 31 May.
