The 25^th edition of the Khimia International Exhibition for the Chemical Industry and Science has opened its electronic visitor registration. Khimia 2022 will take place at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds, Moscow, Russia, from 31 October through 3 November 2022.

This most important show and congress for the chemical industry will once again bring together leading companies, industry research centres and universities, innovative start-ups and small businesses. They will showcase cutting-edge technologies, new engineering solutions, raw materials and equipment.

This year's show will cover all areas of chemical production. Product sectors include raw materials for the chemical, petrochemical, food, medical and construction industries, agrochemistry, oil and gas chemistry, specialty and green chemistry, analytical, laboratory, industrial pumping and compressor equipment, polymeric materials, the latest technologies and scientific developments, and automation and digitalisation of production.

Chemical synthesis products, fuels, reagents, catalysts, chemical fibres, composite materials and glass-reinforced plastics will also be widely exhibited. Other important products at the show will be equipment for transporting chemical and petrochemical products and solutions for improving the environmental safety of chemical production.

To date, 110 companies from 5 countries have confirmed their participation. The Kaluga, Leningrad, Omsk, Tula, Vladimir and Yaroslavl regions and the Stavropol Krai are arranging regional pavilions. The Chuvash Republic will also have its first stand at Khimia 2022.

Special attention will be paid to innovations and high-tech. Khimia traditionally includes an important section called Startup ChemZone. Its participants are start-ups and small businesses related to the chemical industry. They annually get a unique opportunity to showcase their developments to a wide range of potential investors and major market players.

The centrepiece of the conference programme at Khimia 2022 will be the 10th Moscow International Chemical Forum, which will bring together representatives of the chemical industry, relevant ministries, and industry associations. It is organised by EXPOCENTRE AO in partnership with the Russian Chemists Union.

The forum will open with the Strategic Session on Prospects of the Russian Chemical Industry: New Challenges and Opportunities. The following events will be the Sessions on the Chemistry for Agrarians. Issues of Ecology and Food Safety, New Products in the Construction Chemistry, Household Chemistry: on the Way to Import Independence, and the Panel on Relevant Issues of the Industry Personnel Training. Other events on Khimia’s conference programme will also draw attention of market players and experts.
