The final day of the Neftegaz.LIVE platform at the Neftegaz 2023 exhibition was dedicated to discussing issues related to the supply of equipment for the oil and gas industry.

German Kuzmenko, Head of Industrial Services Development and Head of Industrial Division for Eastern Europe at HQTS quality control service provider, spoke about special features of cooperation with companies from China and South-East Asia in the new environment.

The speaker noted that the trade turnover between Russia and China has grown considerably recently. The latest statistics show that in the first three months of 2023 alone, trade turnover has increased by 38.7% compared to the same period last year.

Highlighting the current needs of the Russian industry, German Kuzmenko focused on such aspects as increasing the share of product localisation in Russia, import substitution, expanding the domestic market share (displacing competitors with Russian products), and entering foreign markets.

Operating in China since 1987, HQTS is now recognised as one of the ten fastest growing brands in APEC countries and is ready to assist Russian companies in finding reliable business partners willing to supply the necessary equipment to Russia.

Isource’s Head of Commercial Services, Nikolay Aminov, touched on the topic of strategic supply chain relations in his presentation.

Describing current trends in the industrial supply market, Nikolay Aminov highlighted the active development of ecosystems and digital platforms for businesses that support procurement. He stated that digital supply chain solutions including supply planning, procurement processes and logistics are becoming more and more in demand.

The speaker elaborated on the features of Isource’s digital industrial supply solutions platform, giving examples of its effective use by major companies operating in the domestic oil and gas sector.
