Russian Healthcare Week 2019 will take place at Expocentre Fairgrounds on December 2–6. Co-chairman of the Organising Committee, Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federal Assembly and Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Nikolay Gerasimenko has congratulated participants, visitors and organisers of the Week.
Every December the hospitable fairgrounds of EXPOCENTRE welcomes Russian federal and regional public health officials, health care professionals, manufacturers of medical products and experts to look back on the year and discuss priorities of this country’s health care and medicine and the Health Care and Demography National Projects.
In the opinion of the parliamentarian, Russian Health Care Week can trace its roots to the first edition of Zdravookhraneniye in 1974. Today, it is rightfully considered to be the largest and highly respected series of events related to health care and medicine not only in Russia but also in other countries. Speaking of the Week’s events, he singled out the 10th edition of the International Forum on Non-Communicable Disease Prevention and Promotion of Healthy Lifestyle “For Healthy Life”, various congresses, conferences and panels on the development of wellness and medical tourism and the Russian resort industry, and the Inclusion-Expo.
