The national pavilion of Russian manufacturers started its work at the 38th edition of the Gulf Information Technology International Exhibition – GITEX Technology Week 2018 in Dubai. The pavilion is organized by Expocentre AO with financial support from Russian Export Center AO.

The GITEX Technology Week is becoming a place of world premieres and presentations of new products in the industry of information technologies and electronics. A comprehensive supporting program featuring round tables, conferences and seminars, draws attention of leading industry experts and market leaders.

The participants in the official opening ceremony were Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to the United Arab Emirates Mr. Alexander Efimov, Consul General of Russia in Dubai and Northern Emirates Mr. Oleg Fomin, Trade Representative of Russia in the United Arab Emirates Mr. Ara Melikyan, and other officials.

This year the Russian pavilion occupying more than 400 sq m includes 25 participants which are advanced innovative companies such as Altarix, AltEll, Automated Control Systems, VeeRoute, PROTEI, Brainysoft, Polymedia, Elcomsoft, Qrator Labs (HighLoadLab), Cognitive, Heedbook Cloud, RuSIEM, InfoWatch, Eltex, InfiNet, Omnicomm, Speech Technology Center, ISBC Group, plus many others. At GITEX 2018 they showcase the latest Russian developments and solutions in the field of security, telecommunications, software, logistics, multimodal biometrics, optimization of business processes, and other sectors.

A rich program of associated events has been prepared for Russian exhibitors. It features thematic sessions, meetings with representatives of government and business circles of Dubai and Abu-Dhabi, seminars, negotiations with potential customers from the UAE and other countries of the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and North America.

An important part of the supporting program is signing of a number of agreements between Russian Export Center and government authorities and partners of the United Arab Emirates during the launch of the Russian Center of Digital Innovations and ICT in the UAE, the first specialized Center supporting export of Russian companies in the field of information, digital, and telecom technologies.

Participation of Russian companies in the GITEX Technology Week 2018 with support of Russian Export Center AO allows to present Russia in the global IT market, increase exports of high tech products, find new customers, partners and investors, and diversify markets.
