The Expert Board of the Golden Mercury national business award met at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on May 13. Chamber President Sergey Katyrin chaired the meeting. EXPOCENTRE Director General Maxim Fateev attended it.
The meeting summed up results of the 2024 competition and named winners of 11 main and 6 special nominations, including the Demonstrating the Future – Innovative Breakthrough at the Exhibition special nomination founded last year at the initiative of EXPOCENTRE and the CCI of Russia.
The nomination aims to support enterprises demonstrating future products and engineering solutions at leading trade shows of EXPOCENTRE. Twenty-five applications from 22 Russian regional chambers were submitted for the federal part of the competition. Applications were received from participants in 15 trade shows of EXPOCENTRE.
“We are glad that the exhibition nomination of the Golden Mercury award has generated keen interest. This year, we have seen a noticeable increase in the number of applications and the level of presented solutions. This proves the important role played by exhibitions in the promotion of innovations and new technologies on the Russian market,” EXPOCENTRE Director General Maxim Fateev said at the Expert Board meeting.
Experts named the following winners in the Demonstrating the Future – Innovative Breakthrough at the Exhibition special nomination: Laser Systems (St. Petersburg), regular participant in Photonics and Metalloobrabotka that presented innovative contactless breathalyzers and 3D metal product printers, Stankomashstroy (Penza region), participant in Metalloobrabotka, Neftegaz, Technoforum and Agroprodmash that presented equipment with unique designs, and Vekprom Industrial Group (Moscow region), participant in Metalloobrabotka, Rusweld and Technoforum promoting industrial robotics technologies.
The award ceremony for winners of the Golden Mercury competition will take place at the World Trade Center Moscow on June 16.
