The 2nd National Exhibition of the Republic of Uganda (Uganda Expo 2023) opened at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds.

More than sixty exhibitors from Uganda put on display the country’s products: coffee, tea, cocoa, shea butter, fruit, arts and crafts, and African batik. The country’s tourism opportunities are also showcased.

Ugandan companies presented their products to develop trade, investment and tourism links between the Republic of Uganda and the Russian Federation.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uganda to Russia Mr. Moses Kawaaluuko Kizige attended the opening ceremony.

The exhibition is accompanied by a show of Crane Performers, a dance troupe from Uganda, that showcases the diversity of Ugandan culture through national dance and music.

The exhibition runs until May 26.
