This year, for the first time, an industry session ‘Robotics of the timber industry’ will take place within the conference programme of Lesdrevmash 2022 to be held on 12-15 September at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds. It is organised by the Russian Association of Robotics and EXPOCENTRE AO. 

Leading developers of robotic solutions will talk about the specifics of robotic solutions and incentives for their implementation, as well as technologies for modernising timber industry production facilities. Representatives of innovative industries which have already implemented robots will share their experience, as will representatives of companies planning to automate production processes. 

Today, specialists link the implementation of the Russian forestry industry's sustainable development strategy, aimed at achieving higher economic indicators through the introduction of advanced technologies, with robotics. The session will pay special attention to modernisation technologies in the timber industry. Specific examples will be given of how robotics has increased the accuracy and speed of standard technological operations in processing and sorting of blanks, assembling structures, marking finished products, logistics, packaging, and much more. 

The session will be held on September 13 in the Seminar Hall 4 of Pavilion No.2 at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds.
