On 15 January 2018 the Russian group stand was opened at the International Interiors Show (IMM) in Cologne, Germany.

IMM Cologne is one of the largest and most prestigious furniture shows in Europe. This year the participants are more than 1,300 companies from over 50 countries. The Russian group stand organized by Expocentre AO and supported by Russian Export Center occupied more than 600 sq m that is twice the size of the previous year.

The best samples of the Russian furniture products are represented by 13 Russian companies including Almaz OOO (Rostov region, Volgodonsk), Orma Group OOO (Moscow), E1 Furniture Factory (Krasnodar Krai, Belorechensk), Pragmatika Servis OOO (Kaliningrad), Stil OOO (Nizhny Novgorod region, Zavolzhye), Elmat OOO (Kaluga), and others.

The participants in the opening ceremony of the Russian group stand were Director of IMM Cologne Uwe Deitersen, representative of Russian Export Center Pavel Tolypin, General Director of the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Enterprises of Russia Oleg Numerov, Deputy Consul General of the Russian Federation in Bonn Valery Sidorov, and Head of Bonn branch of the Trade mission of the Russian Federation in Germany Victor Ilskiy. The Russian participants were welcomed by President of the Association of Enterprises of Furniture and Woodworking Industry of Belarus Valery Bushilo, President of the Association of Enterprises of Furniture and Woodworking Industry of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Sadykov, and First Deputy General Director of Expocentre AO Nikolay Gusev.

Uwe Deitersen also welcomed the Russian participants and noted some increase in the exhibition space and emphasized an ingenious design of the Russian group stand. Pavel Tolypin said that nowadays many Russian furniture companies actively entered the international markets improving sales not only in Russia but also abroad. The task of Russian Export Center is development of domestic non-resource high tech exports.
