subscribe to news Russian pavilion opened its doors at the INDEX 2018 international interior design exhibition in Dubai (UAE)

The opening ceremony of the Russian pavilion was held on the 26^th of March at the INDEX 2018 international interior design exhibition in Dubai (UAE). The pavilion was organized by Expocentre AO and Russian Export Center with active support of the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Enterprises of Russia. For Russian participating companies the event organizers plan an action-packed program featuring meetings with major retailers and distributors, architects and designers, representatives of construction and hotel businesses in the UAE.

During the INDEX opening His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum attended the Russian pavilion. First Vice President of the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Enterprises of Russia Oleg Numerov introduced the leading company in the Russian furniture industry DMI Group with famous brand Katyusha Kitchen to the Sheikh.

Consul General of the Russian Federation in Dubai and Northern Emirates Gocha Buachidze, Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the United Arab Emirates Ara Melikyan, Head of Timber Industry Export of Russian Export Center Elena Smirnova and Oleg Numerov took part in the opening ceremony of the Russian pavilion.

In 2018 Russian manufacturers first took part in INDEX within the program for support of non-resource high tech exports of Russian Export Center.

Among the participants in the Russian pavilion there were Pervaya Mebelnaya Fabrika (St. Petersburg), DMI Rus (Katyusha Kitchen TM) (Moscow), Ivory Interior (Moscow), BELSI (Moscow), Zebrano (Moscow), Mebel Impex Opt (Moscow), Е1 Furniture Company (A.S. Linevich IE, Krasnodar Region), Apriori (O'PRIME TM, Saratov), Rosla (Naberezhnye Chelny), and Technocolor (Moscow).
