The Forum on Medical Rehabilitation and Health Resort Treatment: From Research to Practice took place within Russian Healthcare Week 2024. The event was organised by the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia.

Elena Gamaeva, Acting Director General at the Federal Scientific and Clinical Center of Medical Rehabilitation and Balneology of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia, and Gennady Ponomarenko, Director General at Albrekht Federal Scientific and Educational Centre of Medial and Social Expertise and Rehabilitation of the Russian Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, moderated the forum.

The Forum consisted of three sessions. The first session was devoted to the current state of rehabilitation care in Russia. Its participants talked about various aspects of rehabilitation and health resort treatment in this country for different categories of the population. The session on evidence-based physical and rehabilitation medicine talked about rehabilitation in intensive care units. The session on modern medical rehabilitation technologies was devoted to various rehabilitation methods, including innovative ones.
