As part of the Agroprodmash 2023 exhibition, the Russian Poultry Research and Technology Institute organised a panel discussion on Poultry and Egg Processing. Success via Effective Solutions: Practical Approach, Scientific Innovations, Legal Regulations.

The main objective of the event is to engage participants in an active dialogue and exchange of views on the processing of poultry products, their competitiveness, safety and innovative development of industry enterprises. Speakers from research and business communities, specialists from poultry farms and holdings took part in the discussion. The discussion was moderated by Vladislav Budrik, Director of the Russian Poultry Research and Technology Institute.

Galina Bobyleva, Director General of the Poultry Union of Russia, spoke about the macroeconomic indicators of the industry for the first nine months of the current year and expected results for 2023, as well as the provision of raw materials for the industry under economic sanctions. She also touched upon the issues of biosecurity and ecology of poultry production, without which it is impossible to ensure the efficiency of poultry farms.

The panellists discussed industry developments, addressing biosafety, environmental issues, digitalisation, ingredient and additive applications and other industry-specific topics.
