The programme of the 2nd Interdisciplinary Forum ‘THE YOUNG MEDICINE’, which will take place within Russian Healthcare Week at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds, Moscow, Russia on 7 December 2022, will include a youth project competition. For the second year in a row, the forum is organised by the Filatov International Foundation for Biomedical Technologies Development and EXPOCENTRE AO with support of the Federation Council of the Russian Federal Assembly and the Russian Ministry of Health Care.
According to Alexey Vyalkin, Co-Chair at the Forum's Organising Committee and General Director at EXPOCENTRE AO, the main objective of THE YOUNG MEDICINE project is to support talented young people who are future doctors and medical science professionals. The concept of the Forum is aimed not only at encouraging medical students and young scientists, but also at developing mentoring, creating good vacancies for young professionals in leading Russian companies, introducing the student community to innovative developments and state-of-the-art equipment on which they will work after they graduate.
The organisers believe that the competition of youth projects, in its turn, will have a high level of expert evaluation of the best submissions in various categories, and identify the most talented future and current medical professionals, including medical students and postgraduates, residents, young doctors, pharmacists, and researchers.
Participants will also have a unique opportunity for research related dialogue with leading international and Russian experts in the field of biomedicine. Expert discussions and panel debates at the 2nd Interdisciplinary Forum ‘THE YOUNG MEDICINE’ will focus on regenerative biomedicine, experience of R&D management in healthcare, new trends in MEDTECH area development, as well as experience in implementation of new projects.
The hybrid interactive format of the Forum, combined with a nationwide online broadcast, will attract a wide professional audience. Representatives of federal legislative and executive authorities, prominent scientists, healthcare organisers, heads of leading institutions, unions, associations and major medical centres will make presentations on the development of medical science in Russia and in the world.
To take part in the competition, please register before 30 October 2022 on the official website of the 2nd Interdisciplinary Forum ‘THE YOUNG MEDICINE’, read the rules at the link ‘more about the competition’, fill in the application form, and attach your project information. The projects submitted for the competition will be included in the Collection of Projects of the Russian Scientific School ‘THE YOUNG MEDICINE’ and indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index.
The award ceremony will take place in Blue Hall of Pavilion No.2 on December 7, 2022.
