The Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry carries out a special project for young people – The 100 Business Hopefuls. It is a project for young people arranged to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the establishment of first chambers of commerce and industry in Russia. Its participants are students who aspire to become successful entrepreneurs. They are offered an opportunity to meet this country’s best businessmen and start their own business in the future with support of the Chamber. Today the next stage of the project has started at Expocentre Fairgrounds.

The project was launched last December. According to Vice President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Elena Dybova, business coaches have already helped its participants to formulate business ideas and draw up business plans. All of them have received sufficient theoretical training. They attended lectures on how to choose a business niche, plan a project, draw up a business plan, use business process modeling, conduct talks, how the taxation system works, and what overall action sequence should be.

The present stage is about working with tutors who have experience in opening their own business, finding solutions and overcoming difficulties in their entrepreneur activities. They will offer practical advice on how to bring business plans to life. Tutors will select hopefuls to their teams. The five best projects will be selected before December 2018. The Chamber will then help find investors for them.
