subscribe to news A photo exhibition of the VOIR Festival opens at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds

From October 23 to November 23, EXPOCENTRE hosts the Science and Inventions for Life photo exhibition, held as part of the Festival of VOIR – the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Rationalizers. The VOIR Festival is a large-scale project aimed at popularising science and invention in Russia, as well as at finding, demonstrating and supporting developments and solutions created by Russian scientists and inventors.

The official opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Chair at the Russian State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education and Chair at the VOIR Central Council Vladimir Kononov, Vice President at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dmitry Kurochkin, and Chair at the Committee on Exhibition, Fair, and Convention Activity of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Director General at EXPOCENTRE AO Alexey Vyalkin.

The exhibition is dedicated to the contribution of VOIR to the development of science and technology, thanks to which professional and everyday tasks in various fields of human activity can be solved faster, more efficiently and with minimal effort.

Photographic portraits of inventors from Moscow, Ulyanovsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Sevastopol, Yekaterinburg, other cities and regions of Russia, as well as photo facts of the implementation of unique projects and developments that are used in various spheres of life from mechanical engineering to housing and utilities, will be available for viewing for all visitors.
