EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds has opened its doors to the 28th edition of the International Exhibition for Equipment, Technologies, Raw Materials and Ingredients for the Food Processing Industry – Agroprodmash 2023.

The multisectoral concept of the show allows industry professionals to see the products of Russian manufacturers of food equipment and ingredients, as well as the latest developments of the world's leading brands in various segments of the food processing industry.

Agroprodmash 2023 welcomes 847 exhibitors from 18 countries, including 622 Russian manufacturers, suppliers and integrators. This year the floor space exceeds 64,000 gross square metres, which is 40% higher than last year.

The exhibition presents both Russian developments and equipment, technologies and ingredients from leading manufacturers from Austria, Belarus China, Czechia, Germany, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Turkiye, and Uzbekistan. China and Turkiye have national pavilions. 

President at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergey Katyrin said at the official opening ceremony that in recent years Agroprodmash had been developing really fast in terms of content thanks to the attention of our industry, entrepreneurs, the country's leadership, which attaches great importance to agricultural producers, processors, and this sector of the economy in general.

Chair at the Russian State Duma Committee on Agriculture Vladimir Kashin said that in these difficult times it is gratifying that business is overcoming the barriers imposed by politicians and meet at the exhibition, exchanging technologies and machines, and have opportunities to implement their developments.

First Deputy Chair at the Russian Federation Council Committee on the Agrarian and Food Policy and Nature Management Sergey Mitin expressed his opinion that Agroprodmash meets the interests of millions of farmers and rural population, a huge number of workers of machine-building and food processing industries, because today one of the most dynamically developing sectors of our economy – agriculture – produces a huge amount of products that require modern processing.

Deputy Chair at the Russian State Duma Committee on Economic Policy Artyom Kiryanov emphasised that Agroprodmash supports producers, for whom the most important thing is not only to collect a record harvest, but also to process it, preserve and multiply it.

The official opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Director at the Food and Processing Industry Department of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture Elena Belous, Advisor to the Head of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Vasily Lavrovsky, and heads of industry associations and unions.

Concluding the opening ceremony, Director General at EXPOCENTRE AO Alexey Vyalkin thanked all exhibitors and visitors and assured that the EXPOCENTRE team would do everything possible to create comfortable working conditions at the show.

Agroprodmash 2023 is open till October 13.
