Today Expocentre Fairgrounds hosted the opening ceremony of the 3rd National Trade Fair for Chinese Industrial Equipment and Innovations – China Machinery Fair 2019. It was organised by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and supported by the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Expocentre AO. The official operator is Меssе Frankfurt RUS.

The speakers at the official ceremony were Chairman of the Russian organising committee of the fair Vasily Grudev, Plenipotentiary Minister and Economic and Commercial Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy Li Jinyuan, Vice President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dmitry Kurochkin, Vice President of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME) Wang Guiqing, Deputy Director General of Expocentre AO Vladimir Gubernatorov, and Chair of Commission on Housing and Public Utilities, Construction and Roads of the Civic Chamber of Russia Igor Shpektor.

They noted high rates of turnover growth between Russia and China and greater investment cooperation and emphasised the importance of the China Machinery Fair 2019 for further development of mutually beneficial ties between our countries in machine tool building, energy industry, pipeline technology, construction, and light industry.

This year new developments are showcased by 150 leading manufacturers of electrical and energy technology, light industry machinery, pumps and valves, pipeline fittings, machine tools, construction machinery, and others. The trade fair also features packaging, textile, and printing equipment.

The key event of the fringe programme of the China Machinery Fair 2019 is the 3rd Sino-Russian Machinery and Innovations Forum. At the Forum’s special sessions and round tables government officials, businessmen, and specialists in different industries of both countries discuss challenges and prospects of China-Russia economic, trade, and industrial cooperation.

The participants also consider the issues of development of infrastructure of Russian regions in cooperation with foreign partners, China-Russia cooperation in the oil and gas industry, import of Chinese energy technology and electrical components, cost optimisation when purchasing construction equipment, new opportunities of logistics equipment from China, and much more.

The trade show features the Consultation Centre where each visitor and exhibitor can get necessary clarifications on the issues concerning logistics and customs clearance, financing of foreign economic activity, and making contracts, production integration and localisation, and other aspects of cooperation with the People’s Republic of China.  

The China Machinery Fair 2019 will run from October 29 through 31.
