The 23rd edition of the International Exhibition for the Chemical Industry and Science – Khimia 2020 – will showcase achievements of the global and Russian chemical industry at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds from 27 through 30 October 2020.
The central event of the exhibition is the 8th Moscow International Chemical Forum.
The forum is the largest industry discussion platform, which brings together representatives of the leading companies of the Russian chemical and petrochemical market. It is organised by the Russian Chemists Union and EXPOCENTRE AO.
The main topics of this year's forum will be ensuring the competitiveness of the Russian chemical industry in the new economic realities and overcoming the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The forum will also feature a plenary session on the state and development prospects of the chemical industry. The Coordination and Information Center of the CIS member states will hold a panel devoted to the new technical regulations of the EAEC on Safety of Chemical Products. Other important events are a session on new oil refining and petrochemical technologies, as well as sessions on Innovative Chemistry for Farmers and Day of Regions: Challenges and Prospects of Globalization and Localization of the Russian Chemical Industry, a panel on training for the industry’s enterprises, and other events.
