The International Exhibition and Forum on Renewable Energy and Electric Vehicles, RENWEX 2022, will take place at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds on 21–23 June. The motto of RENWEX is Creating the Future of Renewable Energy Together! It reflects the current trends and challenges of renewable energy development.
The show will occupy more than 5,000 square metres to demonstrate equipment and technology for wind, solar, hydro, geothermal and bioenergy, electric vehicles, and services for installation, commissioning and maintenance of various types of renewable energy equipment.
More than 70 companies from China, France, Russia and Switzerland will be presenting cutting-edge technologies and solutions. Russian regional exhibitors have noticeably stepped up their presence at the show. Companies from 6 federal districts and 14 regions of Russia are taking part in it this year.
The show is accompanied by a three-day forum, which includes 13 sessions. They will bring together leading experts in sustainable development, alternative energy and electric transport, representatives of authorities, energy companies, business associations, established research organisations, and key media.
The forum will open with the Session on the Green Economy and the Decarbonisation of the Russian Industry: a Reset and New Growth Points. Its participants will include representatives of the Russian Ministry of Energy, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, the Russian State Duma, different professional associations, and the industry’s leading experts.
The panel on development of distributed generation in remote and isolated areas of the Far East and Arctic will be organised by the Distributed Power Generation Association and и the Corporation for Development of the Far East and Arctic. It will no doubt generate a lot interest among industry professionals. The organisers expects that the panel will facilitate the implementation of investment projects to modernise inefficient diesel (fuel oil, coal) generation based on the introduction of modern energy efficient technologies, primarily based on renewable energy sources.
