Khimia 2021, the International Exhibition for the Chemical Industry and Science, has opened at Expocentre Fairgrounds. EXPOCENTRE AO organises the exhibition with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Russian Chemists Union, NIITEKHIM OAO, Chimvest Scientific and Technical Centre, Mendeleev Russian Chemical Society, Chemistry Department of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia, under auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The exhibition’s participants include 215 companies from 10 countries: Belarus, Canada, France, Germany, India, Japan, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey and the UK. The exhibition space gross covers 13,000 sq. m. The exhibition features national pavilions of Belarus and Germany.

The Khimia 2021 exhibition covers all areas of the chemical industry. Its product sectors are devoted to raw materials for the chemical and petrochemical, food and medical industries, construction industry, agro-chemistry, oil and gas chemistry, specialty chemicals and green chemistry, analytical, laboratory, industrial pumping and compressor equipment, polymeric materials, the latest technologies and scientific developments, automation and digitalisation of production. Chemical synthesis products, fuels, reagents, catalysts, chemical fibres, composite materials and glass plastics are widely represented. In addition, there are equipment for transporting chemical and petrochemical products and solutions for improving the environmental safety of chemical production facilities.

A major event of the conference programme has become the 9th Moscow International Chemical Forum (MICF) with participation of representatives of the chemical industry, line ministries and industry associations.

The Khimia 2021 exhibition runs until 18:00, October 27.
