The AGROBRICS+ International Exhibition and Forum has opened at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds on an area of 800 square meters. It is organised by MVC Expokhleb with the support of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision, the Federal Service for the Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare, the Russian Federation Council Committee on the Agrarian and Food Policy and Nature Management, the Russian State Duma Committee on Agrarian Affairs, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Moscow City Government, and industry associations.
AGROBRICS+ is a new format of the international exhibition and fair, MVC: Cereals – Mixed Feed – Veterinary, held annually for 29 years. Last year, the event drew considerable interest of BRICS+ members and showed the demand for information about current trends in agricultural development in Russia and the world.
The expanded conference programme of AGROBRICS+ presents successful cases of market actors, sessions, and networking with experts. It still covers such essential areas as veterinary, livestock farming, crop production, agro-chemistry, feed industry, and aquaculture. New areas of the forum's conference programme include application of AI, robotics and drones in the agricultural industry, waste recycling and disposal in the agro-industrial complex, the role of agro-tourism in the development of rural areas, and tasks and prospects of land reclamation.
Major events of AGROBRICS+ will include the International Veterinary Conference From Animal Health to Human Health, the International Scientific And Practical Conference on Digitalization and Automation in Agriculture – Autonomous Unmanned Systems, the Panel on Agro-tourism as a Driver of Development of Rural Territories in Russia and BRICS members: Challenges and Perspectives. Agro-tourism Influence on Local Eco-Systems, the International Conference on the Current Challenges: Technologies and Solutions in Land Reclamation, and the Conference on How Livestock Suppliers Can Attract Customers Online.
The exhibition is open until April 30.
