The 16th edition of the International Exhibition for Laser, Optical and Optoelectronic Technologies, Photonics. World of Lasers and Optics 2022, is a long-awaited meeting of leaders of the laser and optical industry. All interested participants – users and purchasers of this unique technology – will once again negotiate with new customers and suppliers, expand their sales, sign new contracts, learn about the latest innovations on the market, and find new partners.
Photonics demonstrates state-of-the-art capabilities of laser technology, optoelectronics and optical instrumentation, which find application in a wide range of fields of the Russian economy.
The show will no doubt attract a large number of industry professionals – developers and users of photonics products – and become an effective platform for demonstrating innovative technologies and advanced ideas in this country.

Show highlights
This year, more than 100 companies are taking part in Photonics, including leading laser and optical products manufacturers, dealers of major companies, research institutes, and leading educational institutions in Russia and other countries.
Several companies will show new products.
Polarus will introduce picosecond fibre lasers that are suitable for machining various materials and for microelectronics. They can be used for scribing, cutting, engraving, drilling and other tasks, including micromachining silicon, semiconductors and ceramics.
Astrohn will present a matrix photodetector module based on a cantilever pit. The distinctive features of this class of devices include high photo sensitivity and low noise levels.
MacroOptica will show high-precision optical elements made of coated optical glass and crystals, examples of metalworking components, opto-mechanical systems as well as opto-electronic systems for non-contact measurement of body temperature in passing people.
Macro Group will showcase laboratory equipment (optomechanics, optics, laser crystals), various fibre optic components, laser sources, and semiconductor materials.
Plant ‘Optic’ will introduce optical parts, fibre optic products, laser active elements made of KGW and KYW single crystals.
ETM Photonics, the show’s newcomer, will present the latest technologies and equipment for photonics research.
Gpixel will showcase the following products: the GSENSE series of sensors, the GMAX line of framing shutter sensors, including the world's smallest pixel, and high-resolution framing shutter devices, the new GCINE series, a unique multi-layer sensor for scientific applications, cinematography, professional photography and aerial photography.
Industry professionals will see the equipment in action, learn about new technologies and receive detailed advice. Technicians and brand managers will be on hand to discuss technical and commercial issues, as well as opportunities for sourcing components and equipment. The exhibiting companies' staff will advise on pricing for possible cooperation.

Conference programme
The conference programme of Photonics. World of Lasers and Optics 2022 will feature more than 120 reports at 24 conferences, meetings and panels.
Industry professionals will discuss the current state of the Photonics Russian Technology Platform and its challenges, and attract the maximum number of users of photonics from other industries to the exhibition.
