The 19th edition of the Neftegaz International Exhibition for Equipment and Technologies for the Oil and Gas Industry

Neftegaz 2019 and the National Oil and Gas Forum were co-located with the Elektro 2019, the 28th International Exhibition for Electrical Equipment, Lighting Engineering, and Building Automation. The co-location resulted into the platform for effective networking of industry professionals and demonstration of the latest technologies and innovations for all sectors of the oil and gas and fuel and energy sectors of Russia.

Participation of leading Russian and international companies in the oil and gas and fuel and energy sector has once again confirmed its high international standing in the professional community. According to the exhibitors and industry experts, the trade shows, such as Neftegaz, are essential for the industry development and for our country as a whole. The trade shows enable to update and show achievements and services in the oil and gas industry in Russia. After the Neftegaz 2019 opening there was held a ceremony of cancellation of the artistically marked mailing envelope devoted to Expocentre's 60th anniversary applying a commemorative postmark.

National Oil & Gas Forum

The National Oil & Gas Forum took place on April, 16-17. The Forum participants were more than 130 speakers, over 800 delegates, and 130 representatives of leading media. They focused on the most relevant issues of the oil and gas sector, current challenges, and solutions to them.

  • Plenary session on the analysis of current energy markets: key trends and new technologies moderated by Deputy Minister of Energy Pavel Sorokin
  • Seminar on oil, gas and money: analysis, forecast and pricing
  • Round table on fiscal policy and economic priorities: new incentives for reloading. The key aim was to increase investments in fixed capital of companies. The fiscal policy should be flexible and predictable to support oil production at the necessary level and monetise gas reserves as much as possible.
  • Session on the challenges facing the oil and gas sector on the way to transformation, digitalisation and cooperation between the companies buying technologies and supplying them
  • Round table on exploration and development of hard-to-recover and unconventional hydrocarbons: economic aspects and technological challenges
  • Strategic session on import substitution, technology and innovative potential of the Russian fuel and energy sector, technology transfer and their financing.
  • Round tables and foresight sessions devoted to environmental engineering and eco-technologies as well as potential of non-resource exports
  • Plenary session on technological and innovative potential of the Russian oil and gas industry in terms of digital transformation

The next 20th anniversary edition of Neftegaz is to run from April 13 through 16, 2020 at Expocentre Fairgrounds. The next edition of the National Oil and Gas Forum will be held on 14-15 April.
