Russian Week of High Technologies is an important event in the field of IT, telecommunications and navigation. The Week brings together trade shows and supporting events under the common concept of Digital Transformation.

Right after the opening ceremony, there was a special ceremony of cancellation of a postal card devoted to Sviaz 2019 and a postal envelope with the original stamp issued by the Federal Communications Agency and Marka AO to mark the 60th anniversary of Expocentre.

Sviaz 2019

The 31st edition of the International Exhibition for Information and Communications Technology

Sviaz is the central event of Russian Week of High Technologies. It is the largest IT and telecom exhibition in Russia, its neighboring countries and Eastern Europe.

The international showcase of consumer electronics occupied 1,440 sq m to accommodate 95 Chinese exhibitors.

Growing figures were shown by the Cables, Satellite Communication, Radio Communication, IP Technology sectors.

Navitech 2019

The 11th edition of the International Exhibition for Navigation Systems, Technologies and Services

Navitech is the main platform to showcase the latest technological solutions for the navigation industry. As usual Navitech was co-located with the International Navigation Forum.

Exhibitors: 39 companies including Queclink Wireless Solutions Co., Shenzhen Concox Information Technology Co., Streamax Technology Co., Ltd., GLONASS Union, Vega-Absolute, Gonets Satellite System, Goodline, Module, Fort-Telecom, Gaz Group Commercial Vehicles, etc. 

GAZ Group Commercial Vehicles, a top producer of commercial and special vehicles, presented a unique platform GAZ Connect for access to digital services.

KAMAZ Innovation Center showcased the ITIS KAMAZ system of satellite monitoring and vehicle maintenance control.

GLONASS Union traditionally presented the latest innovative projects including Autonet National Technology Initiative

Supporting events

  • The Conference on Digital Transformation of Telecom Industry: Strategy 2024 was organised by Expocentre jointly with the RBC media holding. Some of the covered topics included diversification of the telecom business, 5G, IoT, cloud services, Big Data and content monetization.  

    The topic of Smart City solutions and technology got a great response from the professional audience.

  • The Forum on Russian Software: Effective Solutions. National Cyber Security: Sovereignty Vs Globalisation was organised by the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media and supported by the Russian State Duma Committee on Education and Science, the Competence Center of Import Substitution in the ICT Sector, the Russian Software Products Association "Russian Software", and Expocentre AO.

    The main topic was Russian made solutions for national information security.  

    The section on Virtual Technology in E-Commerce: Cybersecurity was devoted to protection of personal data when using virtual technology in e-commerce, government regulations of e-commerce using virtual technology, and international standards in this field.

  • The 13th edition of the International Navigation Forum welcomed more than 900 delegates from Russia, the EU, Belarus, Kazakhstan, India and China.  The plenary discussion was devoted to the satellite navigation, new business models, navigation and digital technologies in logistics.  

    The forum featured the first meeting of the working group on development of unmanned transport and robotic systems – the pool of Roscosmos friends. The second day was devoted to NTI Autonet, its development, regulations and financing.

  • The IoT Tech Spring 2019 included a showcase and a conference, which in its turn featured a plenary meeting, a panel on LPWAN and sessions on Smart City, Smart Industry, and Smart Housing and Public Utilities and Smart Power.

    More than 20 participants of these events included such companies as MTS, ER-Telecom, EuroMobile, Orange, СРТ, WAVIoT and others. Representatives of the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, the Internet of Things Association, the Russian Venture Company, the Saint-Petersburg State University of Telecommunications, etc., offered more than 30 reports on various topics. 

    Overall, the conference welcomed more than 800 professional visitors. More than 200,000 people watched it online.  

    The award ceremony of Russia's first national IoT related award, IoT Awards 2019, was held on the last day of the conference. ER-Telecom was named the best IoT company. MTS won the IoT operator nomination.
