The 14^th edition of the Photonics. World of Lasers and Optics 2019 International Exhibition for Laser, Optical and Optoelectronic Technologies has grown by all indicators.

Information stands of the Industrial Development Fund and the State Information System of Industry
The Job Fair, 4–7 March. Employing companies had a special stand to present vacancies, career opportunities for graduates and other interested specialists.
The delegation of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea headed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chairman of the Korean Part of the Russian-North Korean intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation Kim Yong-Jae attended the trade show. President of the Laser Association Ivan Kovsh conducted a tour around the exhibition stands for Korean guests.

Key Supporting Events

Joint meeting of the Photonics Work Group at the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Science and Technology Council of Laser Association, the Secretariat of the Photonics Russian Technology Platform, the Expert Council on Photonics at the State Duma Commission on Legal Support for Development of the Defense Industrial Sector of Russia on strategic development of photonics in terms of legal and organisational regulations.
Plenary meeting of the 8th Congress of the Photonics Technology Platform featured presentations on application of terahertz technologies in biophotonics as a new advanced instrument of non-invasive diagnostics including of malignant tumors, laser nanotechnology developed by Leibniz University Hannover, Germany. The Russian Quantum Center presented a report on development and application of quantum technology.
