Mir Stekla ran within the Russian Construction Week concurrently with a new international exhibition for building and finishing materials and technologies – RosBuild 2019.

Show Novelties

SmartGlas PRIMER & PROTECT from HQ Glas GmbH (Germany). It is a corrosion protection system against destructive environmental effects.  

The visitors got consultation of skilled professionals of Avic Special Glass Technology Co., Ltd. (China) manufacturing and processing different kinds of glass: nonreflecting, ultra-thin, extra-toughened, bullet-resistant glass and glass containers.

Print-Glass presented a range of high quality ceramic and thermoplastic paints meant to decorate glass using different techniques. The paint can be used for sheet, automotive, bent, and bottle glass.

PPG showed technology for glass painting using SELEMIX coating systems. This coating system was used for coating of The Shard skyscraper glazing in London.    

The Expocentre for Counterfeit-Free Exhibitions Project was carried out online.

18th Forum for Directors of Small and Medium Enterprises "Furniture as Business" organised by Imperia and Expocentre AO. This year the forum participants were CEOs of furniture companies and glass making enterprises interested in selling glass and equipment to furniture manufacturers. The forum featured a matchmaking session aimed at making contacts and development of collaboration between glass makers and furniture manufacturers.

3rd Russian Conference "World of Glass 2019" organised by Imperia and Expocentre AO included the issues devoted to the current state of the furniture market and increase in supplies of glass products. The participants were CEOs of major companies and associations and industry thought leaders.

Over 50 speakers from 12 countries took part in supporting events. The speakers touched upon the most relevant aspects of the glass industry and its future development in 2020. Many participants had business meetings, found partners and generated new sales leads.

The exhibitors and industry professionals highly appreciated Mir Stekla 2019 and emphasized its practical value for development of the Russian glass industry. Visitor attendance amounted to 9,686 people, 94% of them were trade visitors.
