Russian Health Care Week is the largest health care project in Russia, which brings together international trade shows, congresses, forums, conferences and other events. Every year, its participants showcase and discuss the most relevant trends of the Russian and global health care industry. It is included in the annual list of events of the Russian Ministry of Health Care (Order No.99 from 28 February 2019). This year one of the Week’s topics is the preliminary results of the Health Care and Demography National Projects.

The International Forum “INCLUSION-EXPO: Rehabilitation. Accessible Environment. Assistive Technologies” will be held on December 4 as part of Russian Health Care Week. The forum’s goal is to promote discussions of key problems of the Russian state policy and social and medical support to people with disabilities. It will also be the first discussion of pressing problems of children with disabilities at a professional level. The forum will become a unique platform for inter-agency communication and open dialogue between representatives of the medical community, social protection, manufacturers of rehabilitation equipment and individual rehabilitation means, charity funds, communities of people with disabilities, psychologists, and educators.

The Chairperson of the INCLUSION-EXPO Organising Committee is Tatiana Batysheva, who is a head of the Healthy Child working group at the Russian Government’s Coordination Council for the Russian Decade of Childhood and a head external expert in paediatric rehabilitation in the Russian Ministry of Health Care.

The MedTravelExpo 2019. Medical Clinics. Health and Spa Resorts International Exhibition is organised by Expocentre AO with support of the Russian Ministry of Health Care, the Federal Agency for Tourism (Russia Tourism), the National Medical Research Center of Rehabilitation and Health Resort Therapy of the Russian Ministry of Health Care, the National Spa Association and the National Council for Medical Tourism. This year the show is devoted to the 300-year anniversary of the Russian resort and spa industry. One of its aims is to promote the Development of Export of Medical Services federal project and boost development of all sectors related to it.

The first Medical Tourism Workshop will be organised by the National Council for Medical Tourism and Expocentre AO. It is a business networking event for Russian medical companies and organisations and leading foreign medical tourism agencies interested in referring patients to Russia for treatment, wellness and rehabilitation.  

The 2^nd edition of the MedTravelFest International Festival for Active Lifestyle and Health will start its work on 2 December 2019. Its first edition in 2018 enjoyed great success. The festival participants are well-known doctors who are hosts of TV and radio programmes about health and longevity, athletes, experts in corporate health, nutritionists, massage therapists and other health care professionals.

The festival includes a panel of doctors of the Time for the Right Treatment programme, various presentations including Modern Approach to Prevention of Cardiovascular Diseases, About Hormones, Love and Female Health, Detox as a Way of Life, a presentation of the Palazzo Termale thermal centre (Italy), autograph sessions, online broadcasts, prize draws from the Voluntary Union for Physical Culture and the Nordic Walking School of Irina Slutskaya, Nordicwalking master classes, a Healthy Spine master class, a training on spot self-massage against headache and overstress and overall body and emotional recovery. Some of events have international participation.  

The National Medical Research Centre for Cardiology of the Russian Ministry of Health Care and the National Medical Research Center of Rehabilitation and Health Resort Therapy of the Russian Ministry of Health Care will organise health check-up areas for the visitors to popularise medical tourism. 

 The International Center for Training and Development of Massage Therapists and Expocentre AO welcome everybody to the Stress Management Day. The National Russian Bath Union will show Russian traditional banyas which are beneficial for one’s health.

Zdravookhraneniye 2019, Healthy Lifestyle 2019 and MedTravelExpo 2019. Medical Clinics, Health and Spa Resorts welcome more than 1,000 exhibitors from 37 countries on the total area of 50,000 sq m to showcase all types of advanced medical equipment and products.

Russian Health Care Week 2019 will have group stands arranged by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade PharmMedProm 2019, Moscow manufacturers “Made in Moscow”, manufacturers from Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Voronezh and Yaroslavl oblasts and the Republic of Tatarstan, Roscosmos State Corporation, Skolkovo Innovation Center and the Federal Biomedical Agency.  

The Skolkovo stand shows innovative products and developments of the residents of it biomedical cluster.

PharmMedProm shows developments of Russian enterprises of the pharmaceutical, medical and rehabilitation industries, medical products and equipment, pharmaceuticals and assistive technologies.  

The Expocentre for Counterfeit-Free Exhibitions project works on all exhibition days. It is aimed at minimizing counterfeit products showcased at exhibitions through providing consultations and clarifications regarding intellectual property, and rendering assistance in solving conflicts connected with violations of exclusive rights.
