Mir Detstva 2017 to host Children’s Industry Congress
On September 26-28 the Mir Detstva 2017 exhibition will play host to the Children’s Industry Congress 2017 organized by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The participants in the congress are more than 500 Russian manufacturers of goods for children. Among the invited guests of honor are Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Gulnaz Kadyrova, Deputy Minister of Education and Science Veniamin Kaganov, CEO of Russian Export Center AO Petr Fradkov, and Head of Social Projects at the Agency for Strategic Initiatives Svetlana Chupsheva.
The participants in associated events will discuss numerous issues concerning interaction between businessmen and officials, measures of state support, and cooperation within the single economic space, IP rights protection, and other industry prospects. The participants in the congress plenary meeting will consider the issues on the children’s industry development, creation of innovations, analysis of the industry clusters, and award companies manufacturing foods for children.
It is not the first time that the Children’s Industry Congress has been held. It is a business platform which brings together the industry experts and leading players of the Russian market of children’s goods and its market regulators. The congress features an award ceremony for participants in the Made for Childhood competition.
Mir Detstva is a major trade show in the industry of goods and services for children in Russia, Eastern Europe and the CIS. The trade show has run since 1994 and is continually developing. Over 20 years it has become the most important trade show to present new programs of state support of the children’s industry, professional initiatives, and discuss burning industry topics.
