Russian companies will participate in Intergift 2017 in Madrid for the first time
For the first time Russian-made gifts, souvenirs and craftwork will be presented at Intergift 2017, the 73rd edition of the international trade fair of gifts and decorating articles which is to run on September 20-24 in Madrid (Spain).
The Russian group stand is organized by Expocentre and the Russian Handicraft and Art Association. Its members are art and craft companies e.g., Krestetskaya Strochka, Semyonovskaya Rospis, Sakha Taas, Uzory, Mehiko, Yumumbu Labs as well as individual craftsmen and artists such as Galina Mozhegova, Elvira Pakenene, Svetlana Mayurova, and others.
Intergift runs biannually and the autumn edition is traditionally the largest trade fair of souvenirs and gifts for autumn/winter and the Christmas season. The trade fair is held within the International Week of Gift, Jewelry and Fashion along with similar trade shows, e.g., MadridJoya showcasing jewelry, watches and luxury goods and Bisutex devoted to fashion jewelry and accessories.
Intergift is not intended for the public at large, its audience are industry experts, manufacturers and customers attending the trade show to see new collections and sign contracts. Nevertheless, last September 42,354 visitors from 76 countries attended Intergift 2016 and 399 companies from 25 countries participated in the trade fair.
