EXPOCENTRE hosted a meeting between EXPOCENTRE’s First Deputy Director General Sergey Selivanov and Deng Xiaohui, a board member and Chairman of Zhenwei Exhibition.

Russia and China view each other as priority international partners, Sergey Selivanov said, opening the meeting.

He said that tradeshow activities, which are an integral part of business communication, contribute greatly to the development of economic partnerships.

Sergey Selivanov spoke about the company’s main activities and the participation of Chinese businesses in EXPOCENTRE’s exhibitions.

In his turn, Deng Xiaohui noted that the company he heads is the largest private exhibition company in China. The main activities of Zhenwei are exhibition and congress events in the oil and gas, energy, shipping, industrial equipment, food and agriculture, and chemical industries.

The parties discussed prospects for further cooperation in the congress and exhibition sector.

EXPOCENTRE’s Deputy Director General, Irina Lyaschenko, and Head of External Relations Department, Sergey Gusev, took part in the meeting on behalf of EXPOCENTRE.

The Chinese side was represented by Liu Hua, Director of the International Business Department at Zhenwei Exhibition, Sun Bin, Project Manager, and Gai Shiling, Advisor to the Head of Joint Centre for Business Cooperation at the SCO BC Secretariat for the North-West Federal District of Russia.
