A meeting held by the Academic Council of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics was dedicated to attracting applicants to the university during its admissions campaign, continuous cooperation with industry partners and alumni, and the university's position in the world's leading rankings.

During the meeting, professors and heads of departments were elected. Maxim Fateev, Director General at EXPOCENTRE AO, was re-elected head of the Human Resources Management Department of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Human Resources Management Department of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics operates with the support of the Chamber's special Committee on Education and Social Policy and has a well-developed HR potential.

In the current academic year, the department will have graduates in three main educational programmes. The Bachelor's programme on HR Management has international accreditation of the European Council for Business Education (ECBE). Sixty-four study subjects are assigned to the department this year.

In the review period, the department carried out three research studies commissioned by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

Since 2021 the department annually holds the International Conference on the Relevant Issues of Formation, Development and Use of Human Resources, which has been attended by researchers from such countries as Bulgaria, Hungary, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Syria, and Vietnam.
