On 16 May, EXPOCENTRE hosted an academic lecture on HR Security for full-time master's students of the State and Municipal Management training of the Captains Business Faculty at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. The lecture was given by Maxim Fateev, Director General at EXPOCENTRE AO and Head of the Human Resources Management Department of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

During the introductory tour Maxim Fateev told the students about the largest exhibition organiser in Russia, CIS and Eastern Europe, its activities and objectives.

Alexey Koryazhkin, Head of the HR Department at EXPOCENTRE AO, spoke about the competencies required for professionals working in the congress and exhibition industry and the forms of personnel recruitment.

Alexander Lopatin, Head of the Security and Information Technologies Department at EXPOCENTRE AO, spoke about how to implement compliance to prevent employees from violating legislation.

The purpose of the HR Security training is to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure safety in a company in relation to its personnel.

The course is devoted to the study of one of the most important functions of HR management and is therefore relevant in the training of professionals in this field. It is also extremely useful due to its interdisciplinary integrated approach and its great importance at the current stage of development of Russia’s HR management system.

The knowledge obtained during the HR Security training is used in the course of pre-degree practice and writing a master's thesis.
