A meeting held by the Academic Council of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics re-elected Maxim Fateev, Director General of EXPOCENTRE AO and Chair of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Committee on Exhibition, Fair and Congress Activities, as Head of the Human Resources Management Department of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. 

The Human Resources Management Department of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics operates with the support of the Chamber's special Committee on Education and Social Policy and has a well-developed HR potential as 85% of educators have an academic degree and the share of doctors of science among them is over 30%.

In the current academic year, the department will have graduates in three main educational programmes. One of them is implemented jointly with Tugan-Baranovsky Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade. The Bachelor's programme on HR Management has international accreditation of the European Council for Business Education (ECBE).

In his report on the results of the department's work for the 2024-2025 academic year, Maxim Fateev presented the key tasks of the department. They included the development of new master's degree programmes, expansion of the teaching staff, and increased involvement of young professionals. The department also plans to implement international research and educational projects, introduce new programmes of additional professional education, as well as strengthen cooperation with the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and EXPOCENTRE in the field of research.

“We set ourselves a specific goal that is to train professionals for the real sector of the economy. That is why we focus on project work and close cooperation with businesses," said Maxim Fateev.
