MODERN BAKERY MOSCOW | CONFEX 2024, an international trade fair for bakery and confectionery market, has opened at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds. It is organised by Gefera Media OOO with the support of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture and the Moscow City Government.

On a net area of 6,100 sq. m., the exhibitors present technologies and equipment, ingredients and raw materials for the production of bakery and confectionery products; packaging; solutions for storage and transport of food products; equipment for bakeries and confectioneries; refrigeration equipment and technologies; production hygiene.

The MODERN BAKERY MOSCOW | CONFEX project reflects all the changes taking place in the industry in current conditions: some foreign suppliers are leaving the bakery and confectionery markets of Russia and new players are entering the market, the need to restructure business processes and establish other logistics routes, the emergence of new players in the service market, the growth of production costs, etc.

This year more than 250 companies attend the trade fair from Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Czechia, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Iran, Italy and Turkiye. There has been a significant increase in the exhibition compared to last year; along with regular exhibitors, a number of companies from Greece, Iran, China and Turkiye are presenting their products for the first time.

As usual, visitors will be treated to an extensive business-related programme, including a business forum, conferences, and new master classes from renowned professionals in the bakery and confectionery industries.

The trade fair is open until 22 March.
