14 Russian companies will take part in the agricultural machinery exhibition Russia-Azerbaijan Field Day, which runs on 3-4 November at the open-air site of the Astrakhan Business Centre in Baku.

The exhibition will cover more than 500 sq. m. Visitors will be able to see new Russian developments and models of agricultural machinery that have already become popular: AGROMASH 90TG tracked tractor, URALETS mini-tractor, Tukan baling press, ZMP-PSM grain-processing complex, pneumatic sorter, grain crusher, grain elevator, front loader with bucket, OPSV-2200K sprayer, Geoscan Gemini new generation aerial surveying complex, industrial scales and many more.
The exhibition is organised by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade with the support of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Azerbaijan and the Rosspetsmash Association. The operator of the exhibition is EXPOCENTRE AO.
The Russia-Azerbaijan Field Day exhibition will be one of the most important events in the agricultural sector of the Republic of Azerbaijan. All leading agricultural producers, importers and dealers of agricultural machinery, leasing companies, as well as farmers and entrepreneurs of the country, were invited to visit the exhibition and take part in its work.
In recent years, Russian companies have increased investment in expanding and modernising production capacity, and in developing and producing new models of machinery, thanks to a range of state support measures aimed at stimulating production and subsidising R&D.
Russia, as one of Azerbaijan's main key partners, is ready to expand supplies of machinery and equipment for the country's agriculture, which will enable its Azerbaijani partners to increase the efficiency of the agribusiness sector, increase crop yields and reduce losses.
The Russia-Azerbaijan Field Day exhibition will be a platform for demonstrating the capabilities of Russian machine builders to meet the needs of Azerbaijani agricultural producers. It will enable Azerbaijani farmers to get acquainted with modern Russian machinery and farming technologies, taking into account the country's climate and agricultural background, meet in person and discuss technical characteristics and specifications, and obtain favourable terms for purchases.
In addition to the exhibition, the event will feature an extensive conference programme, with officials from ministries, agencies, industry associations, leasing companies and banks from both countries. The main topics for discussion will be development of Russian-Azerbaijani cooperation in agriculture, upgrade of Azerbaijan's agricultural equipment fleet, participation of Russian producers in leasing programmes and state support programmes for Azerbaijani agricultural producers.
The Russia-Azerbaijan Field Day exhibition plays an important role in strengthening and expanding the existing Russia-Azerbaijan cooperation and bilateral trade in agriculture and promoting Russian exports of high-tech agricultural machinery to the South Caucasus market.
