The 2018 Golden Mercury national entrepreneurship award ceremony has taken place at Expocentre.

The laureates were congratulated by President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergey Katyrin, Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Georgy Kalamanov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy, Industry, Innovative Development, and Entrepreneurship Sergey Zhigarev, Expocentre First Deputy General Director Nikolai Gusev, World Trade Center Moscow General Director Vladimir Strashko, MFK Bank CEO Igor Antonov, and some others.

The winners and laureates of the contest were named at a meeting of the award's Expert Board on April 26. This year, 210 enterprises applied for participating in the federal stage of the contest including 178 in general nominations and 32 in special nominations. Most applications were filed in the nominations "Best Small Service Company", "Best Family Company", "Best Small Industrial Company", and "Best Small Consumer Goods Company".
