The 18th International Agricultural Exhibition – UzAgroExpo 2023 opened today in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Russia is represented at the exhibition by the Made in Russia national pavilion, organised by the Russian Export Centre. The operator is EXPOCENTRE AO.

The official opening ceremony was attended by General Director at the National Centre of Knowledge and Innovation under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Alisher Turaev, Chair at the Association of Food Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bahadyr Umirsheikhov, Director at the Agro Information-Innovation Centre of Uzbekistan, the Council of Farmers, Dekhkan Farms and Owners of Homestead Lands of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mirzokhid Yuldashev, Head of the Representative Office of the Russian Export Centre in the Republic of Uzbekistan Pavel Buhanov, and other officials.

During the opening ceremony, the officials talked about the high potential of cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan in the development of agriculture and food industry.

The participants of the Made in Russia pavilion are enterprises representing a wide range of fertilisers, machinery and equipment, as well as IT products for various sectors of agriculture and food industry: Cherkizovo, Lignohumate, KR-Tech, HeatEl, CASARO Factory, Skladskie Tehnologie, Remmash, Koltsovo Biofactory, AgroTech Humate, Bakhtin Fresh Oil, GTS-Avtonom, Kapital-PROK, Gardarika, Musikhin. World of Honey, and GRENT.

Russian participants of the Made in Russia pavilion demonstrate advanced developments and current industrial solutions for agriculture and food industry. These exhibits attract great attention of visitors and include sanitary-hygienic and technological equipment, equipment for artisanal craft cheese and curd production and for industrial production of dairy, confectionery, oil and fat, and canned products. There will also be fodder products for livestock farming, a wide range of fertilisers and biopreparations, agricultural machinery and equipment for livestock enterprises and much more.

More than 100 b2b meetings with potential partners from Uzbekistan and other countries of the Central Asian region are planned for the participants of the Russian delegation.

The 18th International Agricultural Exhibition – UzAgroExpo 2023 is the key industry event of Uzbekistan's autumn season. This year the exhibition welcomes more than 120 exhibitors from 19 countries specialising in the production and sale of modern agricultural machinery and spare parts, equipment, technologies and materials for crop production, animal husbandry, veterinary medicine, processing, transportation and storage of agricultural products.

UzAgroExpo 2023 is open till 24 November.
